Berry Good

Mark has recently started eating Weet-Bix for breakfast. It is a popular Aussie breakfast, as you can see... 'Made by Aussies, Loved by Aussies.' They are kinda like little brittle granola bars that are crunched up in to a cereal.

Mark also enjoys adding berries to it... strawberries are AU$2.98 = US$2.19 for a normal small strawberry container. Blueberries and blackberries are AU$4.98 = US$3.66 each for a little container about half the size of the strawberry container. I try not to calculate the actual cost of this:

But we at least know to expect it... the absolute only thing we have found to be less expensive here than in Texas is prescription medicine!

The history of cereal as a breakfast food is quite a bizarre one. Let's start with the legendary Sylvester Graham.
