An Opera Update

Monday evening, Mark and I decided to go to the opera at the Sydney Opera House. Madama Butterfly was playing... We had not planned the opera, so unfortunately I had to spend Monday morning shopping for an appropriate dress and a new pair of shoes... but I didn't mind :D Here we are headed to the opera. My hair is a bit crazy and I think my eyes are closed... It was a bit windy ... We don't think we were supposed to take pictures inside, but Mark snapped one inside before the show began.
We had nice, close seats... it was a little difficult to see the surtitles (subtitles above the stage), but we managed and understood what was going on.

One more shot of me inside the opera house before we went in to the Opera Theatre... We both really enjoyed the opera. It was very stunning visually... It was a smidge difficult to picture the leading lady as a 15-yr-old Asian, but that didn't take away from the experience! Their voices were also amazing.
