Finally a blog... 9 months in to our adventure!

Hello all... I was encouraged to start a blog for our adventures, so here it is. Mark and I have been living in Australia (affectionately known as Oz) for over 9 months now. I can't believe it has been that long! We have been thoroughly enjoying it and all the adventures we have been able to take. I think I'd better just start from now or I wouldn't have time to recount all of our adventures in the last nine months!

Last Saturday, we flew from our home in Melbourne up to Sydney for Mark's work quarter kick-off. While in Sydney, we usually stay in the suburb called Manly. It is about a 45 minute ferry ride from the centre of town where the opera house and harbour bridge are located. (I will be trying to use Aussie spelling in this blog heehee.)

I am currently on the couch in our little apartment where I am looking out the window at the lovely view of the Manly Wharf. A short walk up the main street in Manly takes us to the Manly beach on the ocean side. That is where Mark and I took a short jog this morning. Unfortunately, I can't upload pictures to this computer, but will try to this evening from Mark's laptop. More to come...
