A Bit More Sydney

During the week, I took several ferry rides between Manly and Sydney... each time, we came around to this beautiful view of the Sydney Opera House and I was amazed every time...

Mark and I keep trying to find Mexican food, but it always turns out a bit strange... The restaurant we tried in Manly (where I had taken my parents) is called Montezuma's and the food was good, but not like Mexican we are used to! My dish on the left was supposed to be a quesadilla, but came out like this... Mark's enchilada in the front seemed a bit more like baked lasagna... oh well :) The guacamole was tasty :)

The view directly out of our hotel window was of the Manly Wharf... this is what I saw every day as I looked out...

I had lots of time to wander around Manly and really enjoyed it. My last day there, I was kicked out of the hotel at 11am and Mark still had to work til 5pm, so I walked up the main street to the ocean side and sat by Manly Beach awhile and read a bit... then wandered back through the main street and shopped a little... then back to Manly Wharf to sit and read awhile... It was a relaxing afternoon. And now after a 10pm flight last night, we are back in Melbourne!

I know what you mean about the Mexican food issue. When we visited London a few years back we went to a Mexican restaurant that had a "Mexican ratatouie," so I guess it was Mexican-French food!
