Italian with Americans

This evening, I went out to dinner at an Italian place called Stuzzichino on Lygon Street in Carlton. This area is where the Italian immigrants first settled and is now the Italian restaurant capital in Australia. It was girls' night out with the group of American girls I joined called the AWA (American Women's Auxiliary). The AWA does fundraising for the Royal Children's Hospital, but our small GenX group also meets once a month to do something fun. Here we are... I had a dish called Mediterranean Risotto that was quite good... it was made with eggplant, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms & olives... I actually picked out most of the mushrooms and some of the olives, but it was still quite good :)
