Flat Stanley & Other Things

Today we had a lovely, relaxing day... we slept late and then meandered up to Bondi Beach to lay in the sun a bit. We used proper sunscreen coating and managed to get away without a sunburn. This is our friend, Flat Stanley, who had quite a time on the beach. He has travelled all over with Angela... he hails from a little school in Texas, where he is a honorary member of the 1st grade. He is trying to explore the world and have his picture made in as many locations as possible! Then this evening, we were able to go to the Opera House and see 'The Importance of Being Earnest' at the Playhouse. We enjoyed it immensely. :) Here we are after the show!

I helped Stanley meet an astronaut a few years ago (Stanely was from a small school in Illinois at the time)! And when my youngest son was in 1st grade, Stanley visited Washington, D.C. with us.
