More Commonwealth Games!!

Last night while I enjoyed the swimming with a friend, Mark got to see the semi-finals and finals of the Rugby 7's. Fiji beat Australia to win the bronze and New Zealand beat England to win the gold. I particularly liked this photo of the New Zealand team as they did their haka chant to celebrate. :)

Then this afternoon we went to see the Men's Gymnastics Individual All-Around Competition. Mark took his fancy new camera and got some great photos. Here we are before the competiton with the Rod Laver Arena in the background.

Phillippe Rizzo from Australia is shown here on the high bar. He won the bronze medal!

Next are two photos of Joshua Jeffries from Australia, who ended up winning the gold medal! On the left, he is doing his vault and then below he is on the rings... nice photo by Mark!

Then finally we have a few shots of the boys from England... Mark happened to get excellent photos of Ryan Bradley on the rings and Kristian Thomas on the pommel horse...

And then as we were walking out... there they were!! So, I asked for a picture and they were happy to pose. Kristian on the left ended up 12th and Ryan on the right was 7th.
