Halfway Moved In

Tuesday, the movers came and we were able to get our stuff all moved in to our new apt! I worked that day and most of Wednesday to get things organized before we had to return the key til we move in for good. Here is the view from our balcony. You can see a little beach, the wharf and far in the background, you can see some of Sydney. I know I can see the observation tower, but it's a bit small in this photo. Since we were in a fully furnished place, we are also buying a little furniture. We bought a bed on ebay, but then had to transfer it from our temporary place to our new place. Since we had a short time to do this, we decided to just try it in our car. We felt a bit silly, but it worked. We only had a short drive, so we just put the pieces through the back windows and held the mattress on the top :) I am all packed and ready to go to Texas. Mark will pick me up in about an hour and we will head to the airport. Texas, here I come!
