Rainbows over Jails

A few days ago, we were in Port Arthur, Tasmania, which was one of the first large prison sites in Australia. It is in a beautiful location and is now a very popular tourist site. There are still ruins from many of the buildings there. After a little touring around, we noticed this gorgeous rainbow over the islands close to the site. It was a full rainbow, but I couldn't get it all in my photo! The smaller island on the left is the Isle of the Dead that they used for a cemetary for both prisoners and free people. The island on the right was a small prison camp for younger boys, to keep them away from the influence of the older convicts.

I remember this as being a very nice place to visit ... even without a pretty rainbow.
