Aussie, Aussie, Aussie... Oi, Oi, Oi!

Hi all! We got our stuff all packed up Friday and flew up to Sydney. We are settled in to our temporary accommodation, along with a few ants, but I won't complain too much. It has a big spa bathtub and I can get to the ice cream store in 2 mins one direction and the beach in 2 mins the other direction!

Sunday evening we had tickets to the big rugby rematch between Australia and England. Mark was wearing his green and gold to support the Australia Wallabies (it doesn't hurt that those are also Baylor colors). And we were not disappointed, as the Wallabies won by a landslide, 34-3. One of their chants is Aussie, Aussie, Aussie... Oi, Oi, Oi! We heard it lots and also sang along to the national anthem and Waltzing Matilda. It was a fun evening!

And today we have a public holiday, observing the Queen's Birthday, although it isn't actually her birthday... but we don't mind a day off!
