Snorkelling on Shelly Beach

Today was sweltering in the high 90's, so we decided to try out Mark's new snorkel & snorkel mask. Very close to us, just a ways down from Manly Beach is Shelly Beach that is known to have some decent snorkelling. I laid out and got some sun while Mark snorkelled. He said it was good (not quite the Great Barrier Reef, but very nice) and the mask & snorkel were definitely worth it... much nicer and easier than the ones we have used before! Here is a shot of Shelly Beach... as you can see it was pretty crowded... everyone was trying to cool off in the HOT sun!
