Italy, We Love You!

We are starting our 2nd day in Italy! We have had fun so far - a quick dash through London and yesterday we had an early flight to Milan. We got checked in to our nice hotel and took a train in to the center of town where we walked past the castle, had some yummy Italian food and then toured the large Duomo (third largest church in the WORLD, apparently). It was gorgeous and we also climbed the steps to the roof that is also beautiful and has a lovely view of the city. Then we had some gelato and pretty much just found our leisurely way back to the hotel and turned in a bit early. Now we are up and have had our breakfast and are headed to tour the castle. We leave about 4 for Verona. More later!
